You are all invited to join us in the celebration of ICRH’s 25th anniversary. Festivities will be held in Belgium on 26 November 2019 , and on 15 November 2019 in Kenya.

ICRH-Mozambique has won a small grant on behalf of the Reproductive and Sexual Rights Network to support Mozambican civil society engagement, alignment, and coordinated action for improved women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health (WCAH).

Country representatives responsible for developing a national SRHR action plan to accelerate the ICPD agenda, can now use two new tools to help them monitor and evaluate their plans. ICRH and UNFPA EECARO presented the tools during a webinar that is available online

In June, a permanent photo exhibition about women’s rights and positive birth experiences opened in the central hospital of Maputo, Mozambique. The project was set up by PhD student Anna Galle and visual anthropologist Tina Kruger, with support of the Global Minds Fund.

The film "The pregnancy is ours" was presented during the "women's week" in the French cultural centre of Maputo, Mozambique. The film was made by Anna Galle, a doctoral student of ICRH, with financial support of the Marleen Temmerman Fund.

ICRH-Mozambique (ICRH-M) and the Center for Population and Health Research (CEPSA) launched: “Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health Policies in Mozambique” at a ceremony held on 23 July 2019 in Maputo. The bookbrings together evidence on Family Planning (FP) and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in Mozambique as a way of contributing to the definition of policies and strategies that are tailored to the country context.

Prof Marleen Temmerman was nominated as UNESCO Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair entitled “Youth Leadership in Science, Health, Gender and Education

ICRH Mozambique participates in the National Family Planning Meeting, Maputo, May 7-9, 2019 with the slogan: "Family Planning is not just contraception, it is a choice and decision for a prosperous future”.

The United Nations Foundation hosted a conference on the impact of weak energy supplies for delivering good health care services and how clean energy could help in creating stronger and more resilient health systems in Africa.
